To strengthen our rental division, we are currently looking for a Workshop Hoist Electrician to join our team in the workshop. As a Workshop Hoist Electrician, you will be responsible for repairing, assembling and preparing the electrical power and control systems of construction hoists before they are delivered to site.

You will work in a technical workshop environment where quality, safety and teamwork are essential. Your work directly contributes to the reliability and availability of our global rental fleet.

What You'll Do

As a Workshop Hoist Electrician, you will work on a wide range of construction hoists and lifting equipment within our fleet. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Repairing, assembling and installing electrical systems on construction hoists
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults in control systems and drives
  • Working with 3-phase motors, frequency drives (VFDs) and control panels
  • Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and technical drawings
  • Carrying out functional testing and final checks before equipment is dispatched
  • Maintaining a safe, organised and efficient workshop environment

What You Bring

We are looking for a technically skilled professional who enjoys working on industrial machinery and electrical systems.

Additionally, you:

  • Have experience working with construction hoists, plant machinery or industrial equipment
  • Have knowledge of 3-phase motors, frequency drives and electrical control systems
  • Are able to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and schematics
  • Are comfortable using workshop tools and electrical testing equipment
