USA high rises under construction with RAXTAR hoists

RAXTAR construction elevators are contributing to the development of North America’s highest buildings. Learning from the experience of building the country’s landmark project One World Trade Center in Manhattan, New York, the RAXTAR construction hoists have evolved to the most reliable vertical access solutions available in the market. In fact, five of the seven highest structures in North America have been built or are currently under construction using RAXTAR hoist’s proven technology:

One World Trade center (541 m – 1,776 ft)

At 541 meters, the efficient transport of passengers and a wide range of materials and equipment would be vital to realizing this audacious vision and improving site safety. RAXTAR provided 13 innovative and reliable RX3245SF hoists to our valued partner BrandSafway by SafwayAtlantic for a period of almost 4 years to enable the construction of this legendary skyscraper.

Central Park Tower (472 m – 1,550 ft)

Central Park Tower is a supertall residential skyscraper in the Midtown Manhattan neighborhood of New York City, along Billionaires’ Row. This striking building is the tallest primarily residential tower in the world; and the tallest building outside Asia by roof height. RAXTAR provided various vertical access solutions for the construction of this impressive project.

111 West 57th Street (435 m – 1,428 ft)

111 West 57th Street, also known as Steinway Tower, is a residential skyscraper in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. The main portion of the building is designed by SHoP Architects and completed in 2021.

432 Park Avenue (426 m – 1,396 ft)

432 Park Avenue is a residential skyscraper at 57th Street and Park Avenue in New York City. The tower is the sixth-tallest building in the United States and the third-tallest residential building in the world. RAXTAR supplied a dual car RX3245SF travelling to the full height of this landmark building in the Big Apple.

270 Park Avenue (423 m – 1,388 ft)

In close cooperation with Safway Atlantic by BrandSafway, our experienced engineering teams were able to develop two T-square hoists to provide safe and reliable transport of passengers and materials up to 423 meters (1,388 ft) in height. With an impressive 7.8-meter (25 ft) inside cabin length, 1.5-meter (5 ft) width and 2,9-meter (9.5 ft) height, RAXTAR is supplying another innovative and distinctive solution.
