RAXTAR hoists on New York’s ‘Freedom Tower’

New York rental company Atlantic Hoisting & Scaffolding will use RAXTAR passenger and materials hoists on the 420 m high ‘Freedom Tower' at the WTC construction site of Ground Zero in Manhattan. The hoists are being supplied to Atlantic by Hydro-Mobile, RAXTAR's joint-venture partner for North America. The 3200 kg capacity hoists will comprise six dual-cage units with maximum travel speeds of 92 m/min and with internal cage dimensions of 1.52 m (W) by 4.4 m (L) by 2.6 m (H).
